How many biomes are in Steal An Egg?

Nine named zones on the Sportskeeda-scale list: Forest, Lake, Desert, Jungle, Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic. Other writeups call the opener Farm or Chicken and the lava zone Volcanic — same ladder, different labels. Confirm the nameplate on the platform you are standing on.

Platforms, not a loading-screen world map

Footage talks about “platforms” you unlock as Speed rises. You walk farther along the same map rather than teleporting into a new instance. That is why a Guardian at the gate can still fling you back toward Forest with the egg in hand.

First-session rule from live runs: steal Forest eggs until the pen ticks, unlock the treadmill, then read Lake’s recommended Speed (sessions show 900) before you commit a carried egg there. A Desert-style platform that prints 10K recommended is the next sign — not a dare. If the animal on the nest is already faster than your exit, you drop the egg even when the sign let you in.

What Speed do I need for each biome?

Two community tables exist. Sportskeeda is the tighter ladder. Other beginner guides smear the middle biomes upward. HUD clips have matched Sportskeeda for Lake 900 and Desert 10K. Everything after that stays a range until you read the recommended Speed in your own client.

Recommended is not immune

A Lake run at 900 still gets chased. Speed is for reaching the platform and for leaving it. If the Guardian or nest animal is faster than your exit, you drop the egg even when the sign said you were allowed in.

What happens if I enter under the Speed gate?

Guardians check Speed. Fail the check and they grab you, fling you, and the carried egg hits the floor — where another player or the nest can reclaim it. This is the main reason Forest players should not “just try” Desert during a rare spawn.

Executable rule: the next biome is the nearest platform whose recommended Speed you already beat with a buffer — not the prettiest nameplate.

A new biome is worthless if the pen is empty. Hatch, park, then train. Income mix for that choice: money making.

Rare-egg timing is the last route layer.

How do Guardians and rare-egg races change the route?

Rare eggs pulse about every 5 minutes, then the map briefly closes ~13 seconds. That window is a route problem, not a tourism problem. Guardians still sit on the gates you must cross to reach the nest.
